HDD blower

To remove the HDD blower:

1. Remove the side cover. Refer to

section “2.1.1 Removing the

side cover” for instructions.

2. Disconnect the 3-pin fan cable

from the fan connector on the

backplane.

4. Firmly grip the blower case as

shown, then slide it out of the

chassis in the direction of the

arrow until the tabs are released

from the holes of the HDD cage.

3. Loosen the thumb screw that

secures the HDD blower case to

the chassis.

3. Plug the chassis fan cable to the

connector on the motherboard.
