Promise SX8300 RAID PCI-X controller card

The following steps outline how to create/define a RAID5 array using the Promise SX8300

RAID controller card. The Promise SX8300 card will typically be found in DocSTAR SPX, and

Enterprise systems that include the RAID5 option.

1. Press “Ctrl-F” when prompted to enter the FastBuild Utility.

2. Select option “2”, which says Define LD (Logical Drive).
