2.8 Installing a CD-ROM drive

Refer to the instructions in this section to install a CD-ROM drive.

To install a CD-ROM drive:

1. Place the chassis upright.

2. Remove the side plate and

front cover. Refer to section

2.3 for details.

3. Remove the drive bay plate by

pressing the lock tabs in the

direction of the arrows.

5. Carefully push the CD-ROM

drive into the bay until its

screw holes align with the

holes on the bay as shown.

4. Insert the CD-ROM drive into

the upper 5.25-inch drive bay.

6. Secure the CD-ROM with two

screws.
